The Farmhouse is a popular pub in Horley and the garden is an integral part of the pub and the pub is an integral part of the community.
It does do a lot of fundraising and is a real family pub and the garden is lovely for the children to play in whilst Mum and Dad relax.
It will be the "local" of the people who are going to be living in the new houses on the The Acres – the large, new housing development next door to the pub so it should become a thriving pub in the future.
How many more houses do we need? However, if the garden is taken away then it will have an enormous impact on the success of the pub. Who has heard of a country pub without a garden?
Planning permission was refused two years ago, what has changed?
This pub building is 400 years old - don’t ruin it!
