Regarding the Redhill Streetpastors (Life, July 1), may I say that anything that helps the homeless living on the streets of Redhill must be good.
My brother has lived on the streets since being released from prison in February.
No one is able to offer him, as an alcoholic, any assistance despite numerous efforts.
Having once been housed by the council and unfortunately then being evicted, no one can offer any hope of future accommodation.
All hostels that are listed are either full or unable to meet his needs and so with many others, I believe, he leads a miserable existence on the streets of Redhill.
