Regarding the development of Horley, some people are concerned that if the planned redevelopment gets the green light and happens Horley will become a ghost town.
While I agree that this could happen, we need to ensure that our town is kept alive by supporting our local traders.
Last week my washing machine breathed its last breath with a shudder after a a lot of shaking. At 9am the next day I went into Cooks and by noon I had a new washing machine installed and the old one taken away.
This is good service and knowing that I have made a local purchase means that if there is a problem I can call on someone within the town for help.
Shop locally to keep our shops open.
