The plan is to close down - knock down - three of our town's best businesses in the name of redevelopment: Furnishing Flair, Cook's Electrical and High Street Pets.
"The shops have come to the end of their useful life," said a spokesman.
Who does he think he is? A clairvoyant?
What insufferable arrogance, Stand by for Legoland.
The bulldozing plutocrats have about as much vision as a dead mole.
What about our community - the people who live and work here and make the town vibrant?
Whoever owns the dice, this is not a game of Monopoly.
Go and build your sandcastles somewhere else.
