Sydney Craven, from Livingwell Taekwondo Club, won a gold medal at the Commonwealth poomcae championshipsin Canada.
She is the first English competitor to win gold at the championships.
Stephane Roth and Zoe Brown, from Livingwell, won silver and Simon Negus won bronze.
Stephane, Melissa McSorley, Guntur Dwairmein and Georgina Stalford compete next week in the poomcae world championships in Turkey.
Livingwell had a successful day at the Capitol Cup International in London. The gold medal was won by Taylor Parkins, silver went to Ben and Sam Owden and bronze was won by Harry Owden, Graham Anderson and Craig Mitchell.
This rounds off the most successful year for Livingwell which celebrates 10 years in 2009.
