Red was the colour for children at St Matthew’s Pre-School in Redhill when they joined in Red Nose Day fun for Comic Relief.
The youngsters attended the pre-school based in St Matthew’s Church Hall in Station Road, wearing something red, and then enjoyed the chance to have their faces painted with a red nose, their nails given a special red polish, and even their hair sprayed red.
All the children decorated red nose cakes and brought in donations which totalled £30.51 for the cause.
Older children aged three and four attend the group in the morning for a more structured session where the staff prepare children for school, while younger children aged two and three attend in the afternoon for sessions aimed at settling them into a routine.
