Pupils, parents and friends of the Hawthorns School in Bletchingley enjoyed giant laughs when staff went into panto mode to present a twist on Jack and the Beanstalk.
Staff members dressed up and took to the boards for two performances of Jack Without His Beanstalk.
The pantomime was adapted by James Driver, the school's head of Art, produced by Elaine Forsyth, head of Pre-Prep, and directed by Debbie Pettifer, head of Drama. But as well as being a lot of fun for the staff and audience alike, the shows at Caterham School's theatre at the end of last month, also raised about £8,000 for The Hawthorns Foundation Bursary fund and the Starlight Foundation.
