Full details of the route the Olympic flame will take through Copthorne on its nearest point to Horley are now available on the Mid Sussex District Council website.
Dubbed the Mid Sussex ‘Moment to Shine,’ the area's big day will be Tuesday, July 17, when the Torch Relay will pass through Copthorne on its way to East Grinstead and neighbouring areas.
The district council's website also gives information for local businesses on road closures and how to manage business continuity on the day, as well as details on parking and how visitors can plan seeing the torch.
People who would like to get involved in the day by helping with marshalling can still apply for the last volunteer vacancies by emailing: culture@midsussex.gov.uk For more details visit the website at: www.midsussex.gov.uk and follow the link from the front page.
