Epsom Light Opera Company will present a devil of a premier at Epsom Playhouse next week.
The company will be performing the South East amateur premier production of The Witches Of Eastwick - with a full orchestra, principals and a 35-strong chorus - at the theatre in Ashley Avenue from Tuesday, October 14, to Saturday, October 18.
The show is directed by James Fortune, who has films and TV series to his name and is also a member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star - one of only about 300 in the world.
The production is based on the popular movie, which starred Jack Nicholson and Cher. In keeping with its director's magic credentials, it will feature flying witches.
The chairman of the London Magic Circle, Scott Penrose, has been drafted in as an adviser.
He, like the show's director, has also worked in film and TV and in the West End.
