ELSON Gladys Joan Passed away peacefully on 13th December 2022, aged 104 years. Much loved stepmum of Ray, step grandmum of James and Nigel. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends from the WI and the Blind Club, Seaford. Funeral service at Downs Crematorium (Family Chapel) Bear Road, Brighton on Friday 13th January 2023 at 2.30pm. Gladys was formerly Medical Secretary at The Royal Marsden Hospital. She was the widow of the late Professor Leslie Alderman Elson and one of the first to disembark on the D Day landings.
