SMART Dr Margaret Mary OBE DSG (née Lord) Died on 4 August 2022, aged 85. Beloved wife of the late Richard, much-loved sister and aunt. Former teacher, HMI for schools, Chief Inspector for Higher Education, Director of Catholic Education Service and trustee of Arundel and Brighton diocese, a mentor to many and a good friend to many more. She will be deeply missed. She will be received into church at 5.30pm on Tuesday 23 August 2022 and requiem mass will be held at 11am on Wednesday 24 August 2022, both at St Mary's Catholic Church, 5 Surrenden Road, Preston Park, Brighton BN1 6PA followed by cremation (family only).
