Valerie Ann Cooper née Reeves 24 June 1934 25 January 2022 Formerly of Henfield Sussex died peacefully at Worthing Hospital after a short residency in the loving care of Ashdown Nursing Home in Worthing. She was predeceased in death by her sister June, her brother Norman, sisters-in-law Jean and Marg, nephew Tiggy and son-in-law Gordon. She will be sadly missed by her son Trevor and wife Annetta, her daughter Sally and two Grandsons Dale and Bradley, her brother Derrick, her nieces and nephews and kind friends. Valerie lived almost her entire life of 87 years in Henfield. From 1967 she worked as a cook at Henfield C of E Primary school. Later she went on to work for Knowles Electronics in Burgess Hill where she worked tirelessly until her retirement. She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend and a warrior during her life. She fought hard to live independently despite the cruel challenges of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. May her soul rest in peace. The funeral service to take place at 2pm on Thursday 10th of February at the chapel H. D. Tribe Ltd, Shoreham-by-Sea.
