WAKELING Dorothy Kathleen passed away peacefully on 1 August 2021, aged 85 years. Now reunited with Les for eternity. Beloved mum to Julie and Lesley, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Service at Woodvale Crematorium (North Chapel), Lewes Road, Brighton on Tuesday 31st August 2021 at 12.00noon. Sign in to add a tributeHaving worked with both of them for many years I was lucky, very lucky to have such friends who to me was like family and you saw the warts and all. They were a couple who gave to their community their time and energy and as a team which worked so well. They were know to just help! having been involved in the St Johns Residents Association since the beginning, they had a belief All was entailed to the best on what offer for a better way of living. This is one of the many qualities I so admired in the couple who worked endlessly to enhance other peoples quality of life without asking for a return, something these days is very hard to find! So, it is with much love and admiration to Dorothy and Les who a I know are standing side by side within the realms of love and light, that I send my love to the family and to them for allowing me to share part of their journey while here and especially while in Brighton.
