Sign in to add a tributeMick was a special teacher. He was self-contained but had some of the funniest one-liners and could always raise a laugh. I'm not surprised he's had so many fond comments from students. His understated commitment to the kids he taught was a lesson for us all.
My profound condolences

And her brothers & sisters and most of my family , he was by far the best teacher of all time , EVERYONE thro the years and all generations speak so highly of him and always have done , Mr McGillicuddy was a legend .. the memory that stands out the most was him running the “unit” where kids were some what challenging / requiring extra help & guidance , he just had the most patience and understanding and had such a kind heart he spoke to children in a way that no other teacher did and this helped so many including myself make progress through there school years , I truly am sorry for his family and I offer my deepest condolences, rest in peace Mr McGillicuddy XXXXX
