Eva Cathleen CARTER MBE At peace following her passing away peacefully in hospital on 20th December 2019. A much loved and respected Aunt and friend to many, her life will be celebrated at St Andrews Church Moulsecoomb at 12 noon on Monday 20th January followed by private Cremation at Woodvale Crematorium. (Family and Boys Brigade). Family flowers only; donations to St Andrews Church Moulsecoomb may be given on the day or sent direct to the church. As one of Evas Boys, from the 26th Brighton (of which there were literally thousands) I was very sad to hear this news. A woman who had dedicated her life to improving the lives of children and young people in Moulsecoomb and surrounding areas. A genuine community treasure who's legacy spanned generations. Safe to say there will never be another quite as special as Miss Carter.
