Stafford Leonard George Leonard passed away peacefully on the 5th February 2019, aged 90 years. Beloved husband of Lily, Father of Lee & Laura & Grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all his family & friends. A funeral service will be held at Woodvale Crematorium, North chapel on Wednesday, 6th March 2019 at 2:30pm. On behalf of Mum and the rest of the family we would like to express our humble gratitude and thanks to the many messages and cards of condolences that Mum and The family have received and shows just how well thought of and respected Len (My Dad) was and he will be missed amongst us all.
Dads Funeral will be at Woodvale South Chapel Crematorium Brighton on 6th March 2019 at 1430hrs.Dad would tell you to be prompt as a real stickler for punctuality.
Mum Lillian and the Stafford Family warmly invite any persons friends,old friends and acquaintances of Dad to this special service to share thoughts and celebrate Dads Fully Lived 90 years if they so desire and if their circumstances allow it. You will be most welcomed and your presence appreciated.
Following the service their will be a Wake held for Len (My Dad) at The Downs Hotel,Warren Road,Woodingdean where there will be sandwiches etc ,Tea and Coffee .( Sorry Dad did not leave money over the bar for drinks on him) but would be very pleased if you are able to attend both service and Wake and raise a glass or teacup to My Dad !!!

Dear Lily and family, I am so sorry to hear of your sad loss of Len, Len was a gentleman of the old score and had a wicked sense of humour, Always good mannered,and helping people, Was a bit cheeky,but that was Len,I shall miss seeing you and passing the time of day, Sorry we never had that cupof tea and some cake, Sleep peacefully Len.R.I.P, Love and respect Sally

Dad Picture when President of Royal Air Forces Association Brighton Branch an Office held for 22 years.Dad served in the RAF 41 Squadron and was a proud Honorary member of Brighton 225 Air CadetsSquadron which he was also a member of before joining the RAF at 17 years old.Dad met Mum Lillian on VE Day 1945 and they were Married for 68 amazing years.Sadly Dad passed away aged 90 years old with Mum at his side. Dad and Mm enjoy 26 years of retirement and canvases for The Labour Party.Dad also organised the Brighton RAFA Battle of Britain Wings Appeal Collections and spent man hours collecting with Mum and other volunteers rang thousands of pounds for Charity.
