William Charles Goddings 13th May 1923 - 3rd October 2018 Known as John to the family, Bill to his Police colleagues and Golly to his oldest friends. Pre-deceased by his beloved Edna, sadly missed by his son Michael, grandsons Tom and Christopher, daughter in law Faith and great grandson Edwin. Passed away at Russell Court Nursing Home, Longfield, Kent. Funeral will take place at Hove Methodist Church, Portland Road, Hove on Friday 2nd November at Midday. There will be refreshments afterwards. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to "Combat Stress", c/o Bungard Funeral Directors, 90 Sackville Road, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 3HE.
