SMITH, Professor Barry It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Professor Barry E Smith, late of the John Innes Centre in Norwich. Barry died peacefully, on September 27th 2018, in the Norfolk and Norwich hospital after a short illness. He will be desperately missed by his wife Pam, his children Tamzin, Joel and Barry James, and his grandchildren. The funeral is to be held at Earlham Crematorium on Tuesday October 23rd at 2:00pm. Please, no black clothes and no flowers. Donations instead to Oxfam for the Yemen Crisis Appeal may be sent c/o the East of England Co-op Funeral Service, St Stephens Square, Norwich, NR1 3SS
