Brian Tulley

Published on 22/02/2018

Tulley, Brian Leslie. It is with deep sadness that we, Sheila, Paul, Richard, Jenny and Mary, announce that Brian our treasured Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Uncle died on Tuesday 13th February. We are all broken hearted and shall miss him terribly. He leaves us with a huge void in our lives. However, all our precious memories will remain with us forever. Our heartfelt thanks go to all the wonderful, clever, dedicated people who have cared for Brian, to all of our 'second family' at Autumn Lodge, his home for nearly four years as well as the Paramedics, A&E team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and the wonderful team on Twineham Ward at the Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath. We have been overwhelmed by all the care and kindness given to Brian and eternally thankful that we were able to be with him and witness his beautiful, pain free, peaceful and dignified passing. Funeral is being held on Thursday 1st March, 3PM, Downs Crematorium, Main Chapel. Family flowers only. Donations to Arthritis Research UK or to Headway East Sussex in memory of Brian, if desired, may be made online via www.memorygiving.com/briantulley or cheques made payable to Arthritis Research UK or to Headway East Sussex may be sent c/o Bowley & Gallagher funeral Directors, 209 Preston Road, Brighton, BN1 6SA.

Such a very sad time for all that have known and loved Brian. Clare and I have some wonderful memories of Brian and in everyone he is smiling, showing kindness, softly spoken and a warmth that only a 'True Gent' can generate. Rest now Brian. Our love and thoughts go out to you all. Geoff, Clare & Family Xx7

Truly one of "Life's" Gentlemen, this will be a sorrier place without the likes of Brian. RIP. Brian.
