Charles, so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye, just knowing you are not in pain or suffering is a blessing. Thirty seven years I have know you and Shelagh and we have been through ups and downs and always came through it. All those lovely photos you sent me, always hilarious word bubbles. I learnt many things from you, especially hoarding things ha ha. All those times you would knock on my door years ago in Dorset Gardens and we would go through the skips and always you said "That will come in handy one day" How right you were. All those lovely dinner parties you both put on. Always remember the day you had your big op in London, sitting there with Shelagh, trying to make her laugh and trying to get her to eat to make those long hours go by, I knew without a doubt you would pull through, as strong as an Ox I would say. So many memories I could go on and on. Hope Nora, Lilly and Bill were there to meet you. Bet Rene' is feeding those **** pigeons and seagulls ha ha. Thinking of Henry and Caroline and you know will always look out for Shelagh. Say hello to my lot up there and see you again one day I'm sure. Love and respect Graham Ward xx
