BROOK JIM (JAMES WILLIAM) Dearly loved and loving father to Jen and father-in-law to Mike. Died on 24th September, 2017, aged 96. Wonderful grandad to Michele and Anthony. Great-grandad to Ben and Abbie. Widower of the late Laura and the late Joyce. Jim was a Royal Engineers 'sapper' throughout the war, including Dunkirk and D-Day. Funeral service at the South Chapel, Woodvale Crematorium, Brighton, at 11:30 am on 9th October. Immediate family flowers only but donations can be made via H. D. Tribe Ltd. 101 Eastern Avenue, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 6PE, to "Royal Engineers Association (Brighton Branch)".
