Crawley firefighters used a hose to put out a car on fire at Lowfield Heath last Thursday (March 6).
The fire crew and police were called to the scene in Charlwood Road where the car's engine had caught light at about 11am.
A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the small fire had started accidentally.
