DANCE, film and sound will be brought to The Hawth, Crawley, by the Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company next Tuesday.
The double bill of performance begins with Faultline, produced by award-winning choreographer Shobana Jeyasingh, inspired by Gautam Malkani's book Londonstani and combining British and Asian dance.
Dancers will perform against a backdrop of images by conceptual film artist Pete Gomes, to music by sonic artist Scanner and a solo by classical soprano Patricia Rozario.
Exit No Exit follows, with music by Michael Nyman, who composed the soundtrack for the film The Piano.
Clarinet features in a story of the anticipation of entrances and the impossibility of easy exits, influenced by martial arts. The performance begins at 7.30pm. Tickets at £12.50, concessions £9.50, on 01293 553636.
